Part of what makes Invisalign really "work" is that it's customizable for just about anybody. Invisalign is the invisible way to straighten your teeth without traditional braces. Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable aligners to gradually straighten teeth, without metal or wires.
To find out if you are the right candidate for Invisalign treatment, the first thing Dr. McDonald does is take an impression of your teeth as they are now - and digitizes it. Using special software, she looks at the current positioning of your teeth and compares it to the way your teeth should look.
Then, our team at LifetimeSmiles use special software to map out the exact path your teeth will take from the beginning of your treatment to the end. Throughout the course of treatment, you will be required to wear these clear, removable aligners one at a time - each one will move your teeth closer and closer to their final, perfectly aligned position. And the best part? Since the aligners are virtually invisible, nobody around you will even know you are wearing braces!
If you have questions about Invisalign, or would like to find out if you are a candidate for Invisalign treatment, we invite you to give us a call at (760) 747-1811. Enjoy the rest of your week and enjoy Memorial Day weekend!!

How does LifetimeSmiles 'Go Green'?
Our team at LifetimeSmiles know that we are living in an age when more and more people have a renewed commitment to conservation, and are frequently reminded to recycle, reduce and reuse. We, too, have taken steps to make our office more environmentally-friendly.
Dr. McDonald and team decided to go “greener” over a year ago, and while we are not paperless, we definitely use less paper, doing all of our charting, clinical and progress notes on the computer. We have used digital X-rays for many years, however. We also recycle in the office, and a few months ago, we replaced our landscaping with drought tolerant plants. For more info on how we "go green," we invite you to give us a call or ask our staff during your next appointment.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Stay connected with LifetimeSmiles!
At LifetimeSmiles, we embrace technology, whether it’s through the innovative treatments Drs. McDonald and Prais offer, our high-tech web site or our Facebook fan page. As you can probably tell, we love connecting with our patients online, whether it’s by sharing news on our blog or communicating ideas on our fan page. For social media to work, we understand that conversation is vital, and that’s why we invite you to join in and tell us what’s on your mind. Although social networks are hugely popular these days, we know they’re unpredictable and ever-changing.
While our doctors and staff take a little time to research how to best use social media, we thought we’d ask you, our loyal patients: How would you like us to use our social networks? What would you like us to share on our blog? Please post your thoughts or give us a call!
Have a great weekend and Happy Mother's Day to all our moms!!
